Red Advertising Ltd, the online classified job advertising company, has agreed to sponsor Onrec’s 2009 Innovative Offline marketing Award for the second year running.

The Innovative Offline Marketing Award is split into three categories, they are: - Niche jobs board, Generalist jobs board and Online Recruitment supplier. The award will be presented to the company that has created the best offline marketing campaign to run either on TV, in print or Radio during 2008, as deemed by the independent judging panel.

Richard Clarke, Director of Red Advertising commented “We are delighted to support this award again for the second year running. It’s one of the hardest award’s to win because creating an effective offline marketing campaign that converts to improved online performance isn’t easy to achieve. This is especially so for companies that make a pound spent on online marketing go a long way and are conscious of ensuring that their money spent on offline marketing delivers a high return in relation to their financial outlay”.

Richard Added “Many jobs boards and recruitment suppliers tend to focus predominantly on online marketing putting a lot of effort into Search engine Optimisation, Search engine marketing and other online partnerships and affiliations whilst neglecting offline marketing. It’s extremely important for an online business to have a good mix of marketing across all forms of media, that’s why it’s important to recognise businesses that have achieved this balance and have achieved success with an effective offline marketing campaign they have created. It will be interesting to see which online business the judging panel believes has had the most significant effective impact with an offline marketing campaign during the last twelve months”
