Hi all,
how many of you feel that personality tests are effective to get the best candidate for the client
Let us discuss
Sudhan
First of all, Personality Tests are to be used as "Appropriate Selection Tool" and not as a rejection tool.
Secondly, all such tests should be administered only by a certified / trained and experienced professional. As we all are professionals and we are sensitive that "one simple error" may cost another colleague an opportunity of a good career OR even a set back.
I am positive you will agree.
Cheers

Hi Sudhan,
personality test definately helps to determine an individual capabilities but this cannot be considered as a full proof method because people can manipulate answers. I don't say all are manipulative, but most of them are.
The test has to be practical & conducted in such a manner where he /she isn't aware whether they are being been checked or analysed on parameters pertaining to personality. Example : A candidate can be engaged in a brainstroming session & there he can be checked for his EQ & IQ.
Thanks

Hi,
I believe that these tests do tell u a lot. Since what u fill in is based on your own thinking styles... so obviously u r speaking about yourself and will get appropriate results. I have developed a battery of such tests and the results are uncanny...
