Started topic "The Magic of Positive Attitude" in General Awareness!!

Recent studies have shown that Optimistic & positive attitude can bring all kind of benefits
From better health and longer life span to a higher level of achievement in ones life.

Five steps to become a positivist :

1 Cultivate an awareness of your internal dialogue. Notice what you tell
Yourself in difficult situations. Write down these thoughts in short form
. This gives you distance and allows greater objectivity.

2 Next ask yourself “What is the the assumptions I am making that
I don’t know I am making which causes me to think in this way?”

3 Learn to get rid of the Nagging voice in your head that say,” I can’t
Do it.” Discover how to celebrate mistakes and say” how fascinating”
So to learn from the experience rather then dwell on them negatively.

4 Attempt to focus on the future rather than what has gone wrong in
Past.

5 Praise and reward yourself each time you step out of negative mind
set and find a new way of thinking about or doing things positively.

“I have become my own version of an optimist. If I can’t Make it through
one door. I’ll go through another door -or I’ll make a door. Something
terrific will come no Matter how dark the present.”
Replied to "personality test efficacy" in Overseas Recruitment!!
11-12-2008.
Hi Sudhan,
personality test definately helps to determine an individual capabilities but this cannot be considered as a full proof method because people can manipulate answers. I don't say all are manipulative, but most of them are.

The test has to be practical & conducted in such a manner where he /she isn't aware whether they are being been checked or analysed on parameters pertaining to personality. Example : A candidate can be engaged in a brainstroming session & there he can be checked for his EQ & IQ.

Thanks
