Well, Arsha.. I would say automatically improving communication is very difficult.
It is the person, who needs to take an effort and initiative to improve on his weakness.

What zaman has stated above is very true, but for me for communicating.
The most essential part is "clarity of thinking".
Unless you are not clear in your thought process, it is very difficult to communicate.
At the very same time, you need to check whether the same has been understood by the receiver.
If I'm thinking of an apple the receiver should also get the same picture in his mind i.e. an apple and not an orange or banana.
And there are many layers in the communication skills to be added on..

I don't have that much patience like Zaman to write on.... :)

well, i dont know about the 20%.
But there is a global company who has cut 3% salary of each employee till this financial year.
