The Recruitment Specialist (RS) facilitates all aspects of the IBM external offer process, partnering with the manager/hiring team and the internal processing teams, validating all information to be compliant with IBM standards and policies.

The Recruitment Specialist receives information from the candidate in the form of the IBM Application for Employment, reviews for completeness, and completes all applicable verification approval processes.

The RS serves as point of contact for interviews and offers for hiring managers, focal points, candidates and Recruitment Coordinators.

The RS serves as a main point of contact for hiring managers within a given business unit, and offers advice and counsel on all aspects of the interview, offer and on-boarding processes for the candidates, as well as Compensation, Benefits, Visa and Export Regulations and use of IBM’s Applicant Tracking System.

Other responsibilities will include monitoring hiring reports and error reconciliation, verification of employment documents and maintenance of data integrity, process design and documentation.

Required Skills:
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.

2 years of recruitment or operations experience.

High attention to detail.

Ability to multitask effectively.

Ability to think broadly to solve problems within given parameters.

Ability to make sound judgment calls in situations that deviate slightly from the norm.

Broad knowledge of general HR policies and procedures.

Basic computer skills in MS Office suite of products, internet.

Completed high school education.

Ability to work evening 6 pm to morning 4 am shift, mirroring USA work hours.

Preferred Skills:
Solid knowledge base of all IBM hiring practices and procedures.

Capable of handling high volume workload.

Completed Bachelor’s degree-level education
