HI Sahaja,

MIS Stands for Management Information System, It is basically a set of information which is provided to management by a diffrent departments about the working, achievements, tagets & Plan of action for a set of period of time. It may be Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Half Yearly or Annauly as per the request asked for.
