Sanjay Uppal has been appointed as the president and COO of OnMobile Global, effective December 9, 2008. Uppal will be responsible for managing the business operations of the company, initially excluding strategic new sales, strategic new products and mergers & acquisitions.
As a COO, he will be responsible for management of customer delivery operations and growing existing client relationships. Uppal will also be charged with increasing productivity, driving down costs, and expand globally.
Prior to this appointment, Uppal was the VP (application networking) for Citrix Networks. He has served as the president and CEO of Caymas technologies and also had a stint with HP. Uppal has a bachelor of technology degree in electrical engineering from IIT Mumbai, MS in electrical engineering and computer engineering from University of Wisconsin, and an MS in management of technology from Stanford University.
