Asian markets were mixed Thursday, with Tokyo`s Nikkei 225 slipping 0.1% after hitting its highest level since early October. Australia`s S&P/ASX 200 climbed 0.6%, South Korea`s Kospi Composite gained 0.3% and Hong Kong`s Hang Seng Index closed flat. China`s Shanghai Composite lost 0.7%, New Zealand`s NZX 50 slid 1.1% and Taiwan`s Taiex jumped 1.6%. Singapore`s Straits Times dropped 0.4%, and India`s Sensex was down 0.3% in afternoon trading.
