Very HAPPY NAVRATRI / DUSHEHRA to all Professional colleagues.

It was very interesting last week , I was asked a question at a HR Meet as to "WHAT DO I THINK A MANAGER SHOULD BE LIKE ?"

As we say.. Lord Ganesh is the LORD of wisdom, I smiled and thought why not take his help. So.. here was the analogy of a successful manager I gave, and pondered over later .. how true it is.

In my opinion a successful manager should be like LORD Ganesha ( VISUALIZE HIM WELL):

* ELEPHANTS HAVE GREAT MEMORY
* SHARP EYES - TO SEE DISTINCT - NEAR & FAR
* TUSK & TEETH - APPROPRIATE USE AT APPROPRIATE TIME
* BIG EARS - TO LISTEN MORE
* LONG TRUNK - TO HAVE THE ABILITY TO SENSE " THINGS/ISSUES AHEAD OF TIME"
* HUGE BELLY - TO BE ABLE TO STORE INFORMATION / DIGEST WHAT IS NOT REQUIRED TO BE REVEALED

* ABOVE ALL - THE "QUICK WIT & HUMOR" OF LORD GANESHA
* BEING ABLE TO SOLVE ISSUES OF ISSUES BEING A MANAGER
* THE FIRST PERSON TO GO TO
* USING WISDOM

And I am sure, there are many able Colleagues who would find many more qualities of Lord Ganesha to add on to this.. and enlighten my missing ignorance.

Agreed...:) more over i feel Lord ganesh is also symbol of energy & smile,
unhe dekane se mann me ek khushi ka ehesaas hamesha hota hai.
i guess You people agree with me..!!!
so it is one of the biggest factor to cosider him as Greatest Manager. Smart, inteligent & humourous..
quity & smily Ganesh always will be part our success..
