Consortium of HR professionals launched
Bangalore: The Consortium of HR Professionals (CHRP) is an exclusive association of HR Professionals for HR people worldwide that was officially launched yesterday. On this occasion, CHRP organized a program on `Personal Branding Positioning Yourself in Your Career.`
The program delineated the positioning of an individual in their career planning and advancement and was attended by delegates from the HR sector as well as other domains. Some of the prominent luminaries who were part of this important event included Narasimhan, Former Regional Adviser, Emerald Group of Publishing, UK, Yeshasvini R, Managing Director, e2e People Practices, Anand Padmanabhan, Director Surgeforth Technlogies and Chinnu Senthil Kumar, Country Manager, Sandisk.
While Narasimhan spoke about how much personal branding is important for an individual likewise a product or services available, Yeshasvini highlighted how networking, credibility and trust make important ingredients of personal branding. Anand Padmanabhan and Chinnu Senthil Kumar shared their real life experiences on personal branding.
While introducing CHRP, Yeshasvini R., Chairperson of CHRP said "CHRP is a not for profit organization. A dynamic field like HR can never be confined to theoretical practices and models, and hence to recognize and consolidate the best practices around the world, we designed the dynamic machinery of CHRP. It is formed in an endeavor to set up a common platform for all the HR professionals across the globe. We aim to bring the members of the HR fraternity together under one roof to aid valuable exchanges, and it is an initiative by HR Professionals and will be unique in its objectives and functions."
CHRP is also starting its first certification course on P-CMM from December 14, 2009 in association with SLE - School for Leadership Excellence, for working professionals. To enable the working professionals to join this course CHRP is organizing two batches, one in the morning and another one in the evening.
