10 Tips to reduce Recruitment cost from RecruitPro

10 Tips to reduce Recruitment cost. We have also included an 11th tip which will help you implement the 10 Tips effectively!

1. Direct Recruitment: Train and motivate your recruiting staff to increase Direct Hires.
2. Employee Referral: Encourage your staff to refer more friends into the system. Usually Employee Referral recruits are found most reliable and productive.
3. Maintain Resume Database: Make sure HR spend at least 2 hours per week emailing prospective candidates from the searchable CV databases available on job sites asking Candidates to apply directly to you. This aspect of the service is time consuming but clients that do use this, report great success.
4. Don`t just stick with the biggest job board. Start using Free Job Boards, Social networking sites & forums to post jobs. The end result will almost be the same. In Big Jobsites, you receive 100’s of irrelevant responses. But usually you get much more targeted and high quality response from Smaller ones and user groups.
5. Don`t spend much on newspaper advertising unless you just want to go for Branding
6. Use Candidates as Referral providers
7. Use your own supplier network effectively & evaluate them periodically. Suppliers are naturally more inclined to be helpful to their clients.
8. Post Open Requirement on your website: Make sure your own website has a "simple to apply" & prominent career section – Candidates usually don’t prefer applying through email ids provided in your Website. They go to your Consultants to see if you have any positions & in turn you are losing money
9. Try Google Pay per click program. At around Rs 10/- per click, you can attract over 50 candidates for around Rs. 1000/-
10. Contract Recruiters for Doing Head Hunting assignments – Since it will not be ethical for the recruiters on your payroll and with the possibility of legal troubles, a contracted recruiter can come in handy. Pay high, may be Rs 50000/-
